These individuals play a pivotal role in ensuring that decisions align with the community's collective goals and values. Elected members are crucial to the DAO's long-term success and strategic direction.
Communications Overview
The EM of Communications is the βheartβ of the organization and central to how Zettahash DAO connects, interacts, and resonates with the ZH DAO community and the wider public. The responsibilities involve conveying the organization's mission, values, and objectives, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the messaging aligns with the DAO's ethos. This role circulates vital information and maintains the health of organizational relationships, making it crucial for the organization's overall well-being and success.
Community Overview
The EM of Community fosters the organization's culture and values, promoting a sense of connection and inclusiveness. The EM moderates meaningful conversations and supports a constructive feedback loop, enhancing community engagement and ensuring transparency, accountability, and openness. The role involves educating the community about proposal nuances, managing the submission and review process, and implementing approved proposals. The EM fosters a global community and ecosystem, attracting builders and projects leading to more decentralized decision-making.
Communication: Role and Responsibilities
- Strategic Communication Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive short- and long-term mining strategies to guide the direction and growth of operations, aligning with the company's overall objectives. Assess market conditions to make informed decisions and adapt to changing dynamics.
- Foster collaboration and cooperation within and with external partners for a unified, fluid communication approach.
- Represent Zettahash (ZH) in public forums, media interactions, and community events, serving as the primary contact for media inquiries.
- Oversee public relations, content creation, and media interactions to enhance visibility and credibility and ensure adherence to the DAOβs rules and brand identity.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and community initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee the communications, events, and community budget, allocating resources efficiently to support strategic goals.
- Assist with crisis communication, developing strategies and responses to maintain the organization's reputation and support the community.
Social Media Marketing
- As a public outreach ambassador for Zettahash DAO, promote awareness and interest through engaging content, strategic partnerships, and interactive community events.
- Content Approval Process. Approve and submit content and posts for all social media, private and public channels. Collaborate with other Elected Members or ZHβs extended marketing team, ensuring alignment with Zettahash DAO's brand and messaging guidelines.
- Social Media Allocation: Approximately 50% to Twitter for AMAs and Twitter Spaces, 25% to Telegram, and 25% to a mix of Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn (B2B), and YouTube. Adjust allocations based on engagement metrics and platform performance to maximize outreach impact. Visual and Text Balance content strategy with a 50/50 mix of visuals and text across all communication materials, utilizing relevant hashtags for enhanced social media visibility and engagement.
- Host and promote interactive Twitter Spaces bi-weekly, discussing updates and key topics such as Decentralized Governance, Mining, Energy, Capital Markets, and Asset Tokenization. Invite expert guests, including Executive Members and prominent Hasher community members, to share insights and foster meaningful conversations.
Content Creation and Public Relations
- Deliver updates to the public and community via blogs and newsletters, like the Zettahash DAO Governance Newsletter.
- Design, implement, and assess PR campaigns to boost reach and engagement within the Zettahash ecosystem.
- Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries and oversee publicity campaigns to enhance visibility and awareness.
Events and Partnerships
- Collaborate with forward-thinking partners across different levels and sectors, focusing on evolving interests and projects like sustainability, Web3, and DAO spaces.
- Identify and attend essential global events, including the Digital Asset Summit, Paris Blockchain Week, Token 2049, Mining Disrupt, and the Bitcoin Energy Summit.
- Allocate budgets and funds for Zettahash DAO's participation in events.
- Set up LinkedIn Events once a month to create educational and networking opportunities.
Community Development and Engagement
- Foster a robust global community and cross-leadership collaboration, creating a multi-dynamic ecosystem that attracts diverse builders and projects. As we grow, our decision-making becomes increasingly decentralized, empowering our community and expanding our impact.
- Collaborate to ensure members' voices are heard, maintaining transparency, accountability, and openness.
- Elected members may also resolve disputes within the community to ensure effective conflict resolution.
- Support DAO members in marketing ZH and expanding its membership through community-voted PR and communications strategies and community-led "Twitter takeover" sessions, where selected members can tweet/quote for a specified time. These efforts contribute to accelerated ecosystem growth.
Community Moderation Team Coordination
- Establish and oversee a team of community moderators responsible for implementing and enforcing rules on official ZH DAO communication channels such as Mattersmost.
- Key tasks include moderating member participation, such as muting, removing, or admitting members as necessary. Training for moderators will be provided as needed to ensure effective moderation practices.
Zettahask DAO Proposal Management
- Educate the ZH voting community and the public about the nuances of proposals and processes, including offering on-demand educational resources that guide participants in the ZH submission process.
- Facilitate proposal submission and review process, ensuring proposals align with ZH DAO objectives. When appropriate and before going live, assist members in building consensus and understanding the potential obstacles during the process.
- Implement voting procedures and support proposals approved by the ZH DAO majority vote, ensuring that governance decisions are effectively executed.
- Organize monthly community-only Twitter Spaces for members to discuss proposals collaboratively. Members can pitch new proposals and constructively discuss existing ones through community-led questions.
Develop Member Incentives and Recognition Program
- Implement a recognition structure that acknowledges and promotes the most active and consistent members while identifying emerging leaders for their beneficial contributions. This will help foster a culture of upliftment and forward action in the community.
